Automating the Work Nobody Wants
The recurring, manual, low-judgement tasks that quietly consume a working week. Participants map one, automate it during the session, and leave with it running.
What participants can do afterwards
- Identify which of your recurring tasks are worth automating and which are not
- Build a working automation for one of them during the session
- Test it against the awkward cases rather than only the happy path
- Hand it over so it does not become something only you can fix
Modules
3 modules, 6 facilitated hours.
1.Finding the right task
1.5 hrsWhich recurring work repays automation, and which is better fixed by deleting the process.
- Judge whether a task is worth automating
2.Building it
3 hrsFacilitated build of a working automation on the participant's own task.
- Build a working automation end to end
3.Awkward cases and handover
1.5 hrsTesting against the exceptions, and documenting it so it is not yours forever.
- Test the exceptions and hand the automation over
How it is delivered
A facilitator runs the course live, in person or live online or blended. Attendance is taken per session, participants submit work against the modules above, and a facilitator grades it. Those records stay with the organisation and can be exported.
